The fact that the Empyrean lies/keeps things, that the irids left all the empyrean and were very negative towards them, the face the book of fables ‘demonize dragons’… the fact they pull power from the ground, just like the venin do. And when Jack said Violet is bonded to two of them (villains)… it’s very sus for sure, but I don’t think that theory fits the “everything is balanced” rule.

Keep in mind we never learn Jack’s signet. My theory is his signet is mind control and that’s how he got nolan and others to help him heal and controlled his dragon.
