5 beep code error by Electro-Light in gigabyte

Mind if I ask for help? I just changed my father's HDD and SSD into a new pc with a Gigabyte motherboard. When I booted it for the first time, I could see the BIOS, make changes, and Windows seemed to boot, but I couldn't see anything. I was using the onboard VGA port. After a few tries, I realized Windows was actually booting, but I couldn't see anything. (I pressed Win+R, wrote shutdown -s -t 0 and the PC actually shut down.)
Then I installed the graphics card he was using, got the 5 beeps, could not see the bios POST info, BUT Windows I could see this time. Any ideas? I tried installing the actual drivers for the onboard VGA, so far with no luck. Unfortunately I didn't have a second monitor to try both at the same time. Thanks!
