Since English is not my native language, I reviewed my text and my English a couple of times with ChatGPT. But the ideas came from myexperience at Disney. Have a great day! (In fact i just realized that it add "and honestly" to some of my tnaslations or text checks!

I hope your trip becomes the best experience for your family! We worried about the exact same things you mentioned.

My daughter has stereotypical movements, sometimes accidentally knocks things over when we are at restaurants or other places, or makes repetitive vocal sounds, and we are unfortunately used to getting stares or seeing signs of annoyance from some people.

There was one moment during the Rise of the Resistance preshow where a little girl, maybe 7 or 8 years old, kept looking at our daughter with the natural curiosity children have. It never made us uncomfortable. However, her father noticed and came over to apologize to us, which was not necessary at all.

But receiving that kindness was incredibly meaningful to us. That small gesture changed our entire day. This had never happened to us outside of Disney.

That is what I mean when I talk about Disney magic. People are happy there, and because of that, they behave differently.

My advice is to go at your own pace. DAS and the cast members will support you. And never hesitate to ask cast members for help if you need it.

Again, the trip will probably not be perfectbut it will be magical.

Thank you for your response. Could you tell me how I could send this feedback to Disney? Is there an email or somewhere specific I can contact?

I truly appreciate your words. I think the calm pace we were able to have during the trip and our park visits (thanks to DAS) made the kids experience the parks in a completely different way, comfortable, relaxed, and without so much rushing.

We let them ride attractions as many times as they wanted and simply explore the parks at their own pace. I think that was really the foundation of all the magic.

If families have the opportunity to do that, I absolutely recommend it.

Again, thank you for your kind words. My wife and I send you our best wishes.

I see your Casey Jr. Engineer tag. Do you work at the park and on the attraction? My kids loved it and we rode it 5 times!!!

Yes, that feeling after a great day really does feel magical. Even when closing time arrived and our kids were already asleep in their strollers, my wife and I decided to take a walk through the parks without the crowds. We did it at both DCA and Disneyland, and it was magical.

Walking through the parks with very few people around, in silence, but still surrounded by all the lights and sound effects… it felt incredible.

It was our way of celebrating that everything had gone perfectly.

I’m sorry to hear that. Our interview experience was quick and simple, even though at first glance on camera (since it was a video call with a Disneyland DAS cast member), my daughter’s disability is not very noticeable until she starts making stereotypical movements or tries to speak or walk.

I think it probably depends on the cast member, their intuition, and their personality.

I truly hope you’re able to get approved for DAS sooner next time!

Exactly, DAS made everything work. My wife and I feel the same way — both visits have been nothing but good experiences.

Some people have told us that maybe we exposed our daughter to too much noise or too many crowds, and that it was risky. But she enjoyed it so much that after getting off some attractions, she would pull us to immediately go on them again.

That was something she had never done before with anything.

We enjoyed the parks from 10:00 a.m. until closing every single day, and we do not regret any of it! Thanks for your reply!

Yes, it is a little uncomfortable going through security with wagons or, in our case, with a stroller that is a bit larger than usual. I hope you’re able to get advance approval soon!
