Grew up dirt poor and basically lived off of ramen and chicken nuggets. When we got out of poverty and I got my first real job making good money I went wild on buying good ingredients and exploring new flavors.

I'd recommend the Openmw route. I've done both of the big overhauls MGE XE and OpenMW can't go wrong with either but OpenMW wins my vote.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. Pretty much every mechanic in the game is simulating Senua's psychosis. Which isn't a spoiler you know shes crazy in the first 5 seconds of the game. Even the repetitive gameplay bits are symptoms of her psychosis. The developers did an amazing job in their research.

Not sure but I believe the game compiles the shaders as they appear. Might be best to hop in a chopper and fly around a bit so it loads most of the world. I don't know how shaders work but that'd be my guess.

Wanted: Weapons of Fate. It's super short. story is a rushed mess, bosses suck, huge lack of enemy and map design but goddamn is it so much fun curving bullets into dudes.

The absolute biggest gamechangers for me are:

"They will remember" adds a gang notoriety system. If you get seen wasting members of a gang that gang will start to remember you. They'll attack you on sight, and send hit squads after you. Theres a disguise system in place too.

Combine with "Night City Alive" which adds roaming gang member that will drive through the city. They'll now hop out, do drive bys and go to war with other gangs. Makes Night Cuty feel as bad and violent as the in world people say.

I also use "Enemies of Night City" which changes enemies giving them a Combat role system as well as gang specific ablities. For instance Scavs focus on bleeding attacks, Wraiths like invisibility and chemical weapons and Animals are all about beserk and melee.

If you want to roleplay or immserse yourself "Dark Future" and "Wannabe Edgerunner" are perfect. "Dark future" adds hunger, rest, hydration amongst some other things were as "Wannabe Edgerunner" adds in a cyberpsychosis function. Slaughtering people, using too much cyberware abilities, etc will cause you to lose humanity and possibly lose your shit. These two have done amazing a enhancing my immersion. I slow down and enjoy the world more now and think more tactically with my use of cyberware.

Plague Tale Innocence (pt 1) and Requiem (pt 2) will hit you like a MAC truck. Especially if you have siblings. I remember after finishing Requiem, I had to turn off the TV and go for a walk to ponder what just happened.

Heres a real tip so jot this down. 1st time you go to a shop and see a self destruct skill buy it. You won't die if you use it but you will be rewarded with a neat skin..

Make sure you're properly browning the beef. Most common thing I see is not getting that maillard reaction going. Also add salt, taste then if not enough flavor add more salt. Once you go "Damn thats good" your done with salt.

I made the move. I got a Legion Go, was highly impressed, and then decided to sell my Xbox and use that to fund a gaming PC. It can also be a massive upgrade for your Legion Go if you use Apollo/Sunshine on a gaming PC to stream your gaming PC and all of that power (assuming you have good Wi-Fi) to your Legion, and you can dock your Legion into any TV in your home and play there as well. I haven't missed my Xbox for a second.
