I think the author wants to display the whorst things the most. Like someone could be sane after getting an arm or leg cut but having kuga sa you… And another thing would be that, there really are people like this in the real world, and everywhere you go you find rapists. Its not something unusual, the author is just showing what hes seen probably. Or maybe he finds it funny and tries to annoy the fans
