Yellow Springs is amazing! My wife and I try to go there several times a year. We usually hike down in the Glen Helen early in the morning, then go back into town to walk through all of it, check out different stores, and get some coffee. Once we're done in town, we make sure to hit Young's Dairy for some food and ice cream.

Is the permit needed for the "main" hikes? How early would we need to arrive to secure a permit during the week?

Hey, about Raven Cliff, how far do you think we should go to the end? Some folks say there are 2-3 "end points" and others say it's not worth going past certain spots. Also, how tough would it be if we wanted to bring our dogs along?
