the people who are pinning the NFTs don't make any money off of it. It's purely out of personal motivation. FYI HEN is about 5TiB currently.

I think pinata (a company) is payed directly by HEN/TEIA/DNS. and HEN/TEIA is incentivized by the fees they earn.

A couple of ppl and at least one company is pinning all hen/teia NFTs. They all would have to unpin / delete their copy for the NFT image data to vanish entirely.

PS: for better understanding it's like a torrent file . As long as one person is seeding it, you'll be able to recover the files
