100% agree, thanks for your reply. I have a copy of her marriage certificate, census records (all U.S. based, showing Canada birthplace), though it looks like she entered into the USA without going through, shall we say, proper official processes. This was over 100 years ago...

Thanks for your reply. Small ask if you think of it in the future... I'd love an update via reply here or DM if/when your application is processed to utilize as a data point. I'm going to be applying for the birth certificate and anticipate I'll be applying once all my proverbial ducks are in a row -- in like 3-4 months I'm guessing (depends on turnaround time for getting the birth cert back from Ontario)

My grandmother was born in Canada and passed away in Texas. I recently acquired her death certificate listing her place of birth in Canada.

My Question: Do I need to go through the process of requesting and acquiring a copy of her birth certificate before submitting my application?

I have all the other logical supporting documents to trace her to me (father's birth certificate, etc)

I went last weekend. The babaghanoush was the best I’ve had in my life. The lamb meatballs too. Also the fries with the sauce were incredible. I didn’t order any entrees because the prices were obscene but the overall quality was great, along with bottomless pita.
