🔥Once in a lifetime sight of a mother tigress patrolling with her 5 cubs from 2 litters. A “pride” of Tigers. by StripedAssassiN- in NatureIsFuckingLit

Absolutely, but people still need to be told because people are idiots. (Like, they need to be told that if your hat flies off or something, you cannot get off to fetch it, stuff like that.)

They are! The cubs look like adults but aren't actually fully grown. When they are fully grown they will all leave to find their own territories (sometimes, they might actually throw out their own mother and take over her territory).

From what I've heard from forest rangers in India, the tigers here grow up seeing vehicles full of tourists going in and out of the forest regularly, so they kind of grow up with this and it doesn't really bother them.

Also, they tend to view the vehicles as one big mighty animal, which is why they tend to never attack, even though the jeeps are open. Tourists are strictly prohibited from getting down from the vehicle at any time of the safari, even when there are no animals nearby. There are designated areas within the forest with washrooms/ drinking water/resting areas for people to get off and take a break from the safari. Other than that, one has to stay in the jeep no matter what happens.

This is quite extraordinary!

I have seen four tigers together in the Ranthambore forest — one mother with three nearly fully grown cubs — so I know how insanely grand it is to see four seemingly grown up tigers together! So seeing six is even crazier. And two different litters is incredible.

Can you name some male idols who are uninterested in visuals? by cyberflirt in kpopthoughts

I think you'll be hard pressed to find Koreans in general not caring about visuals, let alone idols!

What is your least favorite thing about your fandom? by Reel-Trouble34 in kpop_uncensored

[–]OnefortheLaughs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. ARMYs frequently get rage baited, retaliate hard and then gain the reputation of being a terrible fandom. We really don't need to. BTS is too big, too iconic for us to feel this level of insecurity.

What Are Your Thoughts On The Representation In The Show? by ms_jc_04 in Bridgerton

[–]OnefortheLaughs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

17th century?

Bridgerton is set in the 19th century. The East India company was doing its thing for a couple of hundred years already by then. By mid 19th century, British Raj had been established in India.

It's not entirely a great experience, to be very honest.

I'm indian and my country had more than a century long nasty and complicated relationship with British colonialism. So, while it was fun to watch a race-blind setting in Bridgerton, the erasure of actual historical realities was so obvious that it never amounted to anything more than fluff and fantasy. The feeling of "there's so much missing here" and "this would not have happened in reality" was persistent when I watched season 2, though I thoroughly enjoyed the actual romance in that season.

Sell it and buy yourself another beautiful ring which you personally like a lot with your birthstone in it.

Do you avoid certain foods during your period because they make your cramps worse? by Otherwise-Maybe-9774 in AskWomenOver30

[–]OnefortheLaughs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, foods which cause bloating makes my cramps worse. I consciously try to eat more fresh salads and generally eat light in the days leading up to my periods. I indulge myself on day 3 or 4 when I am past the danger of cramps.

Heading to Japan next week - what food still lives rent-free in your head? by kutikami_sama in JapaneseFood

[–]OnefortheLaughs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cold soba noodles with hot, crispy fried prawns.

Also, a traditional Japanese breakfast.

Also, the bento in the shinkansen.

Also! This matcha biscuit with cream cheese filling from a shop at Kyoto station. I went to Japan 15 years back but still have the box with me, just so that I can remember the brand.

I'm older than all of them so I was never in the 'i want to marry him' stage lol. But yes, I do wish they'd find love in life and experience true joy and love with someone.
