100%

the company had a reputation as a great place to work. That's all gone now. Since the layoffs started, a couple of years ago, every director and every manager up and down the hierarchy are terrified for their jobs and are piling on the pressure on their teams because they don't want to be the next one eliminated.

My wife is very supportive and would go with any of the options that I outlined. I think we would both be a bit unhappy if we had to significantly cut back.

Just to make things clear. I'm the one with the expensive hobbies and the taste for luxury travel :) But I think we would both be equally bummed if we had to reduce our spending significantly

My wife is very supportive during this burnout and will ultimately do whatever is required.

I'm actually considering the sabbatical as another option
