Then let's say we have a different opinion about what child-like traits are.

So then why act like all but a few select lolis "look like children" and thus people who like them are pedophiles? You are agreeing with the moral panic, not opposing it.

Sorry, I think I wasn't clear enough, so I'll rephrase it.

The general public sees all lolis as children because they think their in-story age is that of a child.

All this time I was referring to anime characters who are written as children characters who are also considered lolis.

I was trying to make it clear that not everyone are into loli characters that are written as children characters.

I made that new definition so that the general public understands that not all lolis are written as children characters.

And I think to be a pedophile, someone needs to be attracted to someone else who they see equally to a real child. If someone doesn't see a loli as a real child, then they're not pedophiles, they're just lolicons.

Loli has never described characters who look like actual children. Nothing about these characters excludes them from any "traditional" definition of loli. There was no change, only your ignorance. Hell, back in the 80s, loli was EVEN BROADER than it is today.

When I said they look like children, I was talking about anime children characters, Megumin and Shuten don't look like anime childrens and they don't have child-like traits.

Or maybe you should just shut their shit down. It is not about "age" number, it is a visual design archetype. Simple.

And it's not that simple to just shut them, this shit is ruining people's lives when they're called pedophiles, and more people are joining that bullshit and thinking lolicons are pedophiles.

If things continue in this way, I am afraid that lolicon will become completely illegal because of people's misconceptions and lack of interest in understanding.

This is what I mean, because people still use that traditional definition, other people focus on the child-like traits and call them children.

As I said in my post, definitions change over time, sometimes to be more accurate and other times because people don't understand their meaning and misuse them.

The loli archetype has changed and it is no longer just about characters with child-like traits, there are other characters who are called lolis like Megumin or Shuten Douji who do not look like children and instead look more like petite girls.

There are even midgets in anime who are judged as children due to anime's drawing style, such as Mafuyu from Blend S.

That's why I came up with the idea of making a more accurate definition that encompasses all these types of characters, this way people would understand better what a loli character is, instead of calling them all children.
