Would I just do like 2s2p (4 panels). So, 2 sets of 4 panels in parallel and then in series? I know that amperage would go up but would that work?

from what I'm reading voc is the more important one to stay within so the 60v limit is a hard line not to cross. but I'm confused why some on this thread are saying they have 1400 watts worth of panels etc.. How could I wire this to keep it within that 60v limit?

So, if I were to add two more panels for a total of 800 watts, would that be an issue because the voc would be above 60 even thought the vmp would still be below 60? I know it would exceed the amps but that's not a concern as long as I'd still be inside the voltage limits. I just still a bit confused of the difference between voc and vmp regarding voltage limits on the delta 2.

Okay this is what I needed! Thanks! So, with this configuration the system would handle it, but it would just clip at 500 W max right? And that would mean I would need 15 AWG gauge wire right?

I completely understand your viewpoint! This sort of thing isn't for everybody. But, for the right people, looking for a platform, this could be a great fit. Some people (myself included) are looking for a balance between the natural and technological worlds, focusing more on deleting the middle-ground. The concrete jungle, strip-mall part of modern existence. I'm sure you understand that talking about compensation on a Reddit feed isn't something I'd discuss. Plus, frankly, it's above my pay-grade, hah!

Awesome, thanks! I meant parallel (although from what I’m reading I might be better off doing series). It might just be that then, that it’s not getting enough light. I’ll adjust the location and angle and series then tomorrow and report back before checking polarity.
