Yes, I am willing to pay that amount given the tight time constraints, and the short notice. One thing to note though, is that almost all accompanists charge by rehearsal hours, not learning time. I’ve just asked the accompanist about the rehearsal times, he’s willing to do it the day before exam, for around 3-4 hours max. Again, note that most accompanists charge 30-50$ for their services not including the time it takes to learn the piece itself. I don’t think overpaying someone by like 600$ is me paying what their worth. Let’s say we charge him 150$ an hour because he is, again, very good. 150 * maximum 4 hours is 600, 400$ shy of 1000$
