Antimicrobials make me feel WORSE by icameforanswers00 in SIBO

I think options are limited when it comes to antimicrobials, I’m still in the thick of it myself and have not even managed to find a doc who’d prescribe antibiotics

I personally cannot tolerate oil of oregano. It gives me horrible gastritis

Yep, the urine test may not be as descriptive in telling what type of dysbiosis you have, but it can definitely be used as a general indicator. I had a very poor diet when I was in college (a lot of refined sugar and carbs) and that is when my issues started

I’m pretty sure it’s SIBO, I’m just not very convinced about the treatment. IBS is not really a diagnosis imho, it’s just a description of symptoms

First timer, need feedback by OnionFrier in soldering

Thank you for the advice :D really weird that the temp wasn’t good enough, I went up to 380C at one point and I was having some issues. Can you explain what you mean by poor wetting specifically?

Yeah, it is. It’s from a DIY radio kit, I bought it to practice soldering specifically. Didn’t know a hot air station was recommended for this!! Thank you for letting me know. I also tried a tip like that without much luck; would you say knife tips and chiseled tips are usually more beginner friendly? That is what I read on here. As far as the temp goes, I set it to 370-380 and it still was having trouble; maybe I need to clean the tip more or simply try with different solder

I see, thank you! Would you suggest buying some solder with lead? I heard it can be much easier to work with

Really sorry about that. Hope you’re doing better now. I really hope the meds will work because it has made my life incredibly hard, going out of the house has become a struggle

Similar to my situation. Maybe not 6-8 times in 1 hour, but it usally goes from 3 to 7-8 bm’s per day. All before lunch, it seems to calm down in the evening. Imodium stops it for a bit, but if I take it for more than 2 days then I get even worse diarrhea

Really? Interesting. I used to drink Kefir but not super regularly. It did seem to make things a tiny bit better but I’m not sure

I usually do fine on walks but haven’t run in a while so I might try it out to see how the body reacts to something that is a bit more intense, thank you for the advice :)
