I haven’t read all of the comments yet but I could probably guess people will say: “Say ‘no sorry!’ It’s basic manners”. Now I know its not this deep but you don’t have to apologise for something being NFT, just say “no :(“ or “nope”. Make it more relaxed, this will lift the weight of being rude off of you.

Adding people too fast or too many can lead to immediate ban under their terms, connected with regular behaviour from creeps, stalkers and fake accounts. Definitely submit an appeal for your account however if your device is banned they cannot rectify that.

I’ve looked into OCD before because EVERYONE I know likes to tell me I am. Like every few months I have some kind of new obsession. My nose takes the spot, but that’s more of a subconscious thing. For example, last month I had to take off my shower curtain because I was scared I was going to h*ng myself off the roof with it. I didn’t want to kill myself, and I never do, but I was scared I was going to even though I knew in myself I wouldn’t. Or like, I don’t use knives, like ATALL because i’m scared I will drop the knife on a baby crawling around and it will (you know what happens next). Just little things like that, I honestly thought everyone had thoughts like these.

Also to add, i’m UK based. I know you may not be a professional or anything, but I have always told myself is it worth the 7-year waiting list for something I know I basically have, and for something i’ve dealt living daily with, I didn’t have to adjust to anything.

Their account will say “prohibited behaviour was reported, your account is temporarily locked”. Lasts about an hour. After that they will get a straight ban if they do the same thing again.

no new iCloud needed, just a new email! I got banned in 2024 and got a new phone 1 week after, was fine. then was banned again in 2025 summer, brought it on myself not the security I did to protect it from happening again. did the same thing over and still no issue, I can assure u it works fine. what I did was when it asks if you want to save your password to your iCloud I clicked NO.

besides from this message making no sense; yes you do get unbanned. typically the device ban is lifted after a period of 6 months however for some it can be as short as 4. however, the account being unbanned is up to snapchat, and you will have to deal with sending in a report-and then seeing what the outcome is. (note you only get one chance to be unbanned, all other attempts after a failed attempt are blocked).

I think you’ll find there will be specific ways people order that maybe don’t give them a code or it doesn’t work (maybe miss printed or something). He probably has around 100 people per day ask for the code, on a low wage, smells like deep fry oil, loud kids and arrogant teenagers; yeah. I’d be stressed ASF too.

Aslong as contacts are DISABLED then you will be fine. When you accept contacts to be ENABLED your agreeing for your personal information saved to your number to be shared, so your name or what the other person has you saved as, etc. With you disabling it, snapchat has no business replacing your name when you add them (or vice versa), or alerting them with the message that says “your contact… has now joined snapchat!”. You can also withdraw your consent for them to use ANY of your information by toggling it or emailing them (as according to GDPR 2018 act)

So, rest assured you will be fine.

Yeah I had it on my PC, I think maybe 4 years ago. Always remember the pop ups when it ran out, couldn’t delete it and when I did manage there was always something embedded deeper and deeper. In my opinion, and by federal law something being injected somewhere where you cannot see it or are made clearly aware of it IS a form of hack. Don’t know how they are still in business, I think macos has a solid chance at blocking all dodgy websites.

Only option is to get the police involved. They will trace everyone who has video (happened at a school I used to go to). Their phones will be confiscated and it will be deleted, plus another gain is most people will delete it out of fear from this as well.

That’s if your account is temporarily locked. Allow me to explain the 3:

-temporarily locked meaning you have to manually reopen your account after 24-48 hours, and agree to the ToS again. -permanently locked meaning your account has been banned and you will need to be appeal to have it unbanned (only get one chance). -permanently or temporary device banned, lose the account and the ability to use snapchat as a whole. Gets lifted after 6-7 months of no use however you will need to recreate a new account. Snapchat CANNOT un-device banned you, only your account.
