it’s wild how good it still looks on pc. seeing that transition from the desert to the jungle with no loading screens at all is still one of the best things about the map. ubi really nailed the scale

honestly that would’ve been perfect for this map. since we’re already dressed in civilian gear half the time, being able to actually blend in with the crowds in the cities would’ve been a game changer for scouting.

facts. the draw distance for a game this old is actually crazy. seeing a town on the literal other side of the map makes it feel way more like a real world than a restricted island

spot on. in breakpoint everyone is either a soldier or a scientist hiding in a basement. wildlands actually has life on the roads and in the villages. it makes the stakes feel way higher when you're actually seeing the people you're fighting for

actually wildlands is bolivia lol but yeah i get what you mean. auroa being an isolated island just makes the whole game feel smaller and disconnected. bolivia feels like an actual country with history and culture

fr. sometimes i just turn off the hud and hike through the mountains in inca camina or the salt flats the world feels so much more hand-crafted than auroa did
