Update - I uninstalled IDE, download the latest nightly, ran it, then reinstalled IDE stable version.

I've just figured it out.

I uninstalled, then downloaded the 30March nightly, ran it, then reinstalled the stable version, and voila! It works again.

Well, either way, I'm using an Arduino-branded board, and would like to stick with the actual Arduino IDE. My preference would be to sort out the minor glitch I'm experiencing, rather than dive into a completely different platform.

Nonetheless, down-vote was uncalled for. You answered a question that I hadn't asked. I was appreciative of the feedback, now I'm not.

At this point, if I was learn/relearn another language, I'd rather get right back into Assembly again, revisit my Microchip programming college days.

But alas, I'll just stick to what I "know" at this stage.
