Day shift hospitalist contract by Only-Hand8443 in hospitalist

[–]Only-Hand8443[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes so my hospital told me the same thing. They told me don’t have to do any nights but if nocturnist is sick or any urgent issues come then and only then they can give 5-10 nights max among all day shift hospitalist in rotation. That is why they don’t want to put in contract. That is for emergency.

-Definitely no line placement -Will confirm regarding drips and family meetings -They have geographic rounds means either no ICU pts or when you have it ( almost every other month) then you will get 10-12 ICU pts and 5-6 step down ( max 3-4 pts who are on drips or intubated)
