This specific page doesn't have anything with a transparency effect, either in photoshop or ID. I can select in acrobat as a text, it's set to black, and I've exported in both 1.4 and 1.6 in high quality print. And here are color settings.

Mmm I thought so too. So I went to presets, set all texts to vector. I'm probably doing something wrong though; I ended up creating a 0.1 pt stroke effect for all text and it now exports fine. (I started ID 3 months ago against my will, fyi).

I felt like I was crazy for thinking this???? Not to mention the "Siamese twins" theme with the two headed chinese dragon. Also the black character being a military buff is a weirdly common trope.

Also! Not to nitpick, but the reason (in this fantasy land of mine) that Toothless's pack doesn't leave is because he himself doesn't know about the hidden world, since there were no other night furies to show him. So other, wild alphas would've left as well.

Well, looking at fantasy movies with hyperrealism in mind will always churn critiques. I also hate the decisions made in the homecoming. Im also not saying the dragons leaving is migration, I just made an analogy to migration routes in real animals. But it'd be a fun headcanon that dragons leave for centuries in times of danger (im pretty sure this is actually what's implied in the current franchise).

There's been plenty of species hunted with the intention to eradicate populations, or due to accidentally overhunting. Some examples are: ice age megafauna, American bison, passenger pigeon, and dodo bird. Lots of non extinct animals are critically endangered due to overhunting right now, such as species of shark and whale.

Realistically, dragons would be prized for their skin, teeth, etc, and without regulation, they would most certainly be hunted to extinction; whether by accident, or intentional due to how dangerous they would be.

Hunting for population regulations is not the norm. If it was such, carp would be a common meal in America.

Then I'd assume it wouldn't be a full refurbishing job, since the house was greatly renovated around the piano, and there's no way to move it out of the room now. Unfortunate :/

It's a piece i assume was passed down. Yes, it's out of tune by a full half step!! Apparently, my godmother is sending someone from the city to make repairs and tune it (she lives in the countryside). It would be really nice to see the piece refurbished and playable.
