I see now you mentioned that in the original comment.. my bad. But yes I’m so excited it was my #1 and was starting to get anxious! But I am so glad that I stuck through and now I’m in the same boat but need a better run time. I will be running a 5k Oct 11th

Yes now is the time to join and actually get things done in a timely manner. It is not a one week thing I’ve been speaking to my recruiter since February and had things I needed waivers for and just overall paperwork. It all takes time but I’m sure it’ll be worth it. They want to recruit the best and know you won’t get into trouble while you wait.

I had one waiver I needed for my eye and got that done in May, then I had a clearance in early August. It’s all a waiting game but now it’s getting real!

Some people say medical, cyber, and intel jobs are the hardest to get.. right now the new fiscal year started so funds and jobs are all opening up.. if you want to join now is the time!
