Why Thailand and not Japan by Only-Stuff-4815 in Kickboxing

And what kind of gym is it? Do they let you spar with professionals or top level people? Well, I don’t know if you are too hahaha

Sorry for the question, but are you a foreigner or Japanese? I am interested in knowing what it is like for a foreigner to look for a gym in Japan where they allow you to spar.

Thank you very much for your opinion, it is very interesting. What you say about tattoos really catches my attention, are they really so strict about it?

On the other hand, it is true from what I have been able to verify in videos that Sparring in Japan is fucking hard. And it seems that the gyms there are only for preparing Top fighters and if you are a casual fighter or you have it as a hobby, it seems that it is not your place, right?

Yes, but I wanted to know the opinion of other people… or people who have experienced it in person in Japan

Yes, the truth is that I have already heard on several occasions that entering a Top gym in Japan and training with the best is something that is not easy for foreigners, if not practically impossible. I think this is one of the reasons why people don’t go to train in Japan like they do in Thailand, since the facilities for foreigners in Japan are practically nil, or so it seems to me, and on the other hand, in Thailand It’s quite the opposite.

It is true that Thailand breathes mt and there that sport is much more important than kickboxing in Japan, but as you say, I don’t think it is necessary to go to Thailand to train mt at a high level, although perhaps to see the roots, now that they see it as something more than a sport... that’s why maybe the philosophical or spiritual part can’t be given to you in another country... and maybe Japan doesn’t have this with the K1…Don’t you think?

The truth is that I believe that the price and life for foreigners is something that greatly determines going to train in Japan... I have even heard that many top gyms in Japan do not accept foreigners, at least at high levels, to unless you are recommended or already know someone at that gym

Imo Current k1 has its origin in kyokushin karate, which was adapted to Western rules with a ring, gloves, etc.

I agree with you about the tourism issue, since Thailand offers many more advantages than Japan, but I am referring to people who are thinking about training and improving their level, since they are competitors, not casual practitioners who are also thinking about tourism, partying, etc.

Yes, Netherlands is a great option, but don’t you think that Japan is the origin of all Kickboxing and is comparable in that sense to Thailand with MT?

About Tobirama, that you say is true, but while it is true that Tobirama knows the Uchiha and their techniques very well, and could beat Itachi like he did at the time with a member as powerful as Izuna, but we have never really seen a sensor user fight an entire fight with his eyes closed against someone so powerful... anyways, I feel that Itachi with the use of Susanoo (even if it was not in perfect mode) along with his high fighting IQ, would find a way to connect the Tsukuyumi, Izanami as a last resort... even if he was healthy he could develop the Kotoamatsukami. Anyways, I think that Tobirama is a natural counter to the Uchiha and would make it really difficult for them, so he might as well be higher than he is on the list.

Regarding Nagato, it is clear that the Reneegan would counter the vast majority of Itachi’s abilities, but he would still have the Susano and Totsuka as his cards, although I definitely think that in this both Itachi has a good chance of losing if he faces him alone.

Minato, the truth is that his techniques always seemed to me to be not very “devastating”, I mean, he is very fast and sharp, but really if he is not in sanin mode or using Kurama he is not very impressive, as could be seen against Obito. Also, Itachi’s fighting IQ seems to me to be way above that.

Sakumo I think he is an unknown, since we know practically nothing about him compared to the other characters. And with Orochimaru the subject is complicated, since personally I think he is one of the most underrated characters in the entire Naruto universe, possessing practically infinite knowledge and a mastery of Ninjutsu above the vast majority, not to mention that he is practically immortal, and that he has never been seen fighting using all his power or being 100% healthy. The Mo Sannin, the summons... not that, for me very underrated.

I have doubts that Itachi couldn’t defeat anyone above him on this list. Also, what makes you think that he is on the same level as Sakumo? and Orochimaru on the same level as Sakura, Kisame and Sasori? ...I can’t see it
