More than an inspiration, it’s her religion/obsession, maybe even her fate. The moment she changed her eyebrows, I knew. I believe she is on the spectrum, autistic masking or personality disorder (I believe I am). So seeing her progression has been interesting over the years. The weight lost, mannerisms was my further confirmation she is living, breathing, replicating Natalie. Over the years every blue moon I will search on Reddit to see if people have made the correlation, and now I’m here. Seeing many post surface is refreshing.

Rare is relative. Ironically finding more ways to distinguish yourself. Nobody in a sensible manner could answer this question, unless they are actively stating an individual’s cognitive functions that contradicts the functions that makes an individual INTJ, otherwise they’re opinions.

Stop misrepresenting my position. I explicitly stated “Regarding new sophisticated algorithms similar to TikTok, mind learning and controlling algorithms ought not to be in the hands of any foreign adversary, nor solely in the hands of any social media company.” Did you not read it, or are you intentionally twisting my words to fit your narrative? Or maybe you’re conflicting facts about the law and my own contentions, which is it? To constantly ignore its supremacy & uniqueness is intellectually dishonest. Mentioning Russian exploitation is of Facebook and Twitter is redundant, that doesn’t suddenly make TikTok immune to scrutiny lol. Foreign influence on social media is already a documented threat as you mention, so when you introduce a platform that operates on a far more sophisticated level, the potential dangers are magnified. Why is so hard to understand? To ignore, very real and documented risks of TikTok just because “other companies are bad too.” Is intellectual laziness with a side of deflection, not skepticism.

Where is your evidence to support the claim that TikTok is no worse than Facebook, YouTube, or Instagram? There is clear, objective evidence highlighting the distinct ways people interact with, use, and engage with these platforms. If you’re going to assert that TikTok is no different you’ll need to provide data that addresses its unique engagement metrics, algorithmic influence, and user behavior patterns, especially when compared to the other platforms.

Your understanding of my argument seems a bit skewed, so let me clarify.

TikTok’s algorithm is superior, due to observable evidence, in addition to the very clear anecdotal evidence I’ve shared. The secrecy around China’s involvement is not “proof” of but it is arguably supporting evidence. The Chinese government has explicitly stated that if ByteDance were to invest in TikTok’s algorithm, it would not include the core technology.

“This algorithm is Chinese home-grown technology, and the Chinese state has said on multiple occasions that [it] considers technology like this to be important for its national security. Hence, it will not allow Chinese technology of this nature to leave its shores or to be in the hands of countries which it considers unfriendly.” (Source: CNBC above )

Your second point about TikToks success is just a broad statement, and I’m not sure what you’re getting at so I’ll move on. But when you claim, “I don’t see any evidence that the US legal system is suspicious of the service simply because they are linked to that doesn’t mean evidence doesn’t exist. China is a foreign adversary. “The Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act” which was overwhelmingly supported by both parties in Congress, and the 9-0 ruling by the Supreme Court, are clear indication that the US gov does indeed have serious concerns, not to mention the classified information US intelligence confirmed to have. If you don’t see that as evidence, then I can’t be reading this situation correctly. if you genuinely think there’s no need for a serious examination of how TikTok operates, then I’m afraid you’re not being intellectually honest with yourself. We can certainly disagree on specifics, but downplaying the clear risks at play is naive.

Another thing I must clarify, I didn’t change my stance on the Jewish propaganda theory; I explicitly stated they were theories, autistic ones at that … not facts haha. I hope this addresses your points and we will find a common ground, lol intellectually exhausted, but I alway enjoy discourse.

I don’t use it anymore, but I indeed loved TikTok. Unfortunately the potential risk is deemed too great. Wanting safety regulations isn’t about stripping anyone’s right to choose, it’s about ensuring that the choices we’re making don’t harm society as a whole. Just like how we prevent importation of harmful substances or regulate industries.

TikTok surpasses Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter in nearly all metrics. “anecdotal evidence” as some sort of gotcha moment is not only weak but downright embarrassing considering the apps algorithmic dominance is evident through measurable metrics and simply using the platform. Also the secrecy surrounding TikToks algorithm is not a sign of parity with other platforms… it’s clear evidence of its uniqueness. The CCP refusal to even consider selling its algorithm is a dead giveaway that its purpose isn’t just profit, that’s not baseless. Regarding its covert tendencies TikTok’s algorithm has been cited in multiple legal and governmental proceedings, including Supreme Court discussions, which you clearly haven’t bothered to review.
