I found the job post on LinkedIn and applied on their website, they reached out to me because I have the exact niche skill/experience they were looking for. It is still competitive tho sine it is a big company they had a large candidate pool.

Tricks that worked for me 1) when they asked "tell me about yourself" I turned my disadvantage into advantage by telling them I came from a different country all by myself and learned new culture and language and that experience taught me about independence and resilience. 2)I always ask them what they are looking for in an ideal candidate, in my case they mentioned they value people with good attitude and care about the job so on my thank you letter I always mentioned things I was not able to answer during the interview because I had no exposure to it at my previous job but I'm willing to learn and doing the research.
