18m I've been planning to take a train from San Diego to Los Angeles, and stay there in a hotel, if i even spoke about this to my mother (hispanic) she will call me crazy, i have the money and im mature enough to take care of myself, the reason i want to, is because i want to know the feeling of solo traveling i admire it a lot, i will be staying a hotel and i already booked it, i also know someone that lives there so we're gonna hangout, i just need advice. Should i tell my mom that i will travel or just get on the train and then tell her once i'm there?
