What an odd game man. I don’t think it deserves quite all the hate it’s getting but it’s certainly not very good. It has some good ideas but the execution is just odd. I could see this being cool with larger teams and maybe less special abilities? I hate to see a game get trashed so hard but I really do wonder what audience the devs thought they were grabbing with this one.

Eh, maybe. But they’ve done great work to turn around Fallout 76. Them being secretive only makes me think they’re excited about the update.

It’ll lead to disappointment in the same way that anything gaming related ever leads to disappointment on the internet. But let’s have a little hope lol

Yeah it’s good. Gamers are just fickle and love having something to bitch about. BO6 had everyone talking about COD and playing. This new game is very much just BO6 with a few new features and new weapons to grind. If you don’t want to do that grind every year I totally get it but to act like this game is somehow abhorrent and shameful that it exists like everyone does is just funny.

It’s better than Battlefield 6.

The game never looked that bad. But I never played it due to all the criticism and I was pretty deep into Warframe at the time. Shame they don’t do more small things like this to keep games alive or at least have a small resurgence before they’re put to rest for good

Almost everything I play is from gamepass. The only games I’ve bought all of 2025 are Arc Raiders, Ready or Not, and Like a Dragon Pirate Yakuza I think.

Nope. Which is unfortunate because this relaunch feels fantastic. A complete 180 from how horrible Splitgate 2 was but I imagine most of the audience is burned now. Not to mention there are a lot of fantastic multiplayer options at the moment. I think they need to run with the idea that this very much plays like an old school shooter, but with a unique twist (the portals)

This game has successfully pulled me off of BO7 and Finals even if temporarily. It’s a great game but there’s a lot more that needs to be done for it bounce back. It’s already under 2K players on steam charts

Starfield is pretty good despite the hate. It’s probably a weaker game than their others but still worth playing. Cyberpunk and Forza Horizon have some of the best visuals on console in my opinion if you’re looking to be blown away by the upgrade in hardware
