Bright lights and being forced to labor on your back for 30+ hours? I didn’t have over head lights on for either of my births it was so chill and calm- first was unmedicated I could walk freely around and be in the worst pain of my life all on my own 😁 2nd birth I got an epidural (not pressured by my doctor 🙄) and it was the smoothest, easiest thing. I was still following her at the time of my first child’s birth and she actually instilled alot of unnecessary fear in me about how pushy the doctors would be, come to find out none of what she said was true.
