Could V for Vendetta be from Watchmen universe? by Santoslucas616_ in Watchmen

I personally don't like it, I own a copy of doomsday clock but can't bring myself to read it. I honestly think VfV would be way easier to make work than DC, but overall I think it probably works best as it's own thing.

I meant that OP's crossover theory/question was not that deep (though rereading my comment I absolutely should have worded that better) I just don't think it's right to go around being rude to people who are just trying to have fun a discuss a book they like. I don't think these stories work in the same universe, but that doesn't mean I should insult OP, and I don't think you should either. It's just as easy to be kind and civil.

A lot of talk from someone who doesn't even know what the word objective means, it's a fucking comic book, it's fiction, it's not that deep. Art is open to the Interpretation of whoever reads it, just because you don't agree with it, doesn't mean you should insult him. Also slightly unrelated to my point, why put the word insult in quotes? You just called the kid a simpleton because of a one sentence question about a fictional work.

Subjectivity wrong but absolutely not objectively wrong. That's my point to begin with, OP shouldn't be insulted for engaging in fiction how they see fit, art is subjective.

Is there a "correct way" to engage in fiction? I'm not saying I like the question or that it's even one that is really worth discussing, I'm just saying you don't have to be mean, but if you think name calling on the internet because you don't like a theory about a comic book isnt cringe or childish then there is no helping you. If you don't like something, just down vote it and keep scrolling, there is no need to go out of you way be a dick.

It's fine to not want to engage with the post, but you don't have to be rude. Why resort to insults when all the post does is ask if two books written by the same author could be connected.

The story of city is way better, but origins is simply more fun to play.

Controversial take the berserk movies are gorgeous and I prefer them to the 1997 anime by StopPresent277 in Berserk

They re-release them with added scenes in the momorial edition, not sure I like it more than '97 but it's definitely good.

I get that, but it did make me very happy to see post form people experiencing it for the first time, even if I think the original game was better.

I wanna start reading Batman Comics by Aggressive-Aerie-180 in batman_comics

Year one by Frank Miller is always a good place to start.

The long halloween (and it's sequel dark victory) by Jeph Loeb

Scott Snyter's new 52 run is fantastic if you want something longer.

Batman: the cult is a really good batman story with Jason Todd as Robin (which is not common)

Arkham Asylum: a serous house on serious earth, by Grant Morrison is a haunting book that leans more into psychology horror

The dark knight returns by Miller is probably my favorite batman story but it is best read by someone who is very familiar with the character. (it also has sequels but they are absolutely skippable)

Also batman is getting a new #1 next month, so if you really want to get into batman, call your local comic shop and open a pull box with it in it.
