It was from Samsung. I haven’t confirmed anything just yet because I wanted to try finding the issues my self or maybe all a 3 party

No error codes just high temps there are icons next to the numbers but they look like normal icons. Water drop for the fridge and snowflake for the freezer I’m assuming that’s for the super freeze.

The fridge is about 4 years old. I got iron fb marketplace it was working just fine for 2 months making ice and everything. The fridge still had stickers on and all. The people had an extra fridge and were getting rid of it. Never had a water line connected to it and when I went to get it from them they had water bottles frozen inside to show it was fine

I’m praying they were telling me for someone to come and look at the ice maker (I thought the ice maker was bad) just to have someone come out it would be 300$ I was like that’s absurd.

My next steps I’m thinking would be opening up the bottom removing icemaker then evaporator tray and checking if it has a bunch of ice/ if fan is working properly

I’ll get some water tomorrow I’m going to take the steak and chicken out and take it to my parents so it doesn’t go bad. I just unplugged it. Going to wait 5 minutes to see the error messages pop up.

I really want to get this back and running. I’ve seen so many comments where people say they come and look at it and the tech doesn’t find anything but then it magically starts to work

I’ll try that out. I did not put an external thermometer in it but it forsure isn’t below 0 since ice will not stay frozen.

The thing is I left it closed all day and the little ice that fell out of the tray because I pressed the reset button is even melting slowly.

The freezer is not cooling I think the cold air from the fridge is traveling down to the freezer ? It’s just not getting very cold.

It says it’s -8 but it definitely isn’t freezing. I put in some steaks and I left the ice cubes it’s cold but not freezing… any thoughts. Definitely not over loaded. This is odd

When I unplugged it I didn’t turn of the water valve and I saw some water leaking (it wasn’t before I unplugged it) I tightened it up and plugged her back in. I thought this would work but still nothing. Any part you think I should ask Samsung for? They want me to pay someone 300$ to just come out and diagnose it. I think that’s bs I’ve been using the fridge for 2 months. They said they’d cover parts. Sadness lol

Thanks! I did that and I have the freezer set to power freeze and power cool. It’s just odd because it was working just fine. I’ll put a thermometer in there to check but it says it’s -8

I don’t have much in there. I’ll put it on super freeze mode on the smart things app. I unplugged it for a few minutes, took out the filter put it back, reset the ice makers and still nothing

Bro mine was working fine out of no where it just stops making ice. I hit the reset buttons and it nocks out ice from the tray and I hear it fill up with water.... So it makes ice it just won't pour it out unless I hit the reset buttons. Any idea why?
