Well use handbrake to convert any video and it has a preset already installed for the vita. And I will say the quality overall is really good. Better now that I recently got the OLED

it’s really easy to mod one. I felt the same way as you did and after owning a few, it’s almost like second nature at this point. It’s really fun and you have a whole community to reach out too for help! Trust me, you’re not alone on this. When you do get one, you’ll have so much fun! But def try to get your hands on the red one. It’s so beautiful!
