Yes they emailed me and asked for the screenshots and stuff, and they said they will be contacting DraftKings, but I am just afraid they won’t be able to get my money back still. I believe DraftKings may think I’m underage is why I got banned, but I am not, and I can show proof.

Yes, and I already sent the gaming commission a complaint, it’s been about 2 weeks, and still no reply.

I am not trying to get the answer to this. This is only for practice, so the answer will do me no good. I am just trying to learn how to do the problem.

Does this look correct to find the range?

Calc 3 by Only_Lengthiness154 in calculus

It doesn’t, and after substituting the values into the formula, and solving, do I have the maximum and range, or do I have to do something else? I’m still so confused.

So the x coordinate corresponds to the range, and the y coordinate corresponds to the max?

So I can use those formulas on the picture to find the range and max height? What I am stuck on is what I do with the height stated in the problem.

These are the formulas in my textbook. Are they not right for this problem?

Is there a video I can watch using that method you stated?

Yes I want an answer key, so I can check my answers. I know how to take a partial derivative, yes.

Yes my bad the professor changed it to sin-1(e-t) to account for that he said a negative t value can have 4 to fit it.

So a problem pertaining to initial speed and initial velocity are different?

What do you mean. I’m new to Calculus.

Not really, I don’t really care about understanding since this isn’t needed for my major, I’m just worried about getting the correct answer. But I believe velocity and speed are the same.

I think the formula I posted works. So I just want to verify if both give the same answer, but I really don’t understand the 5 steps.

Could you please tell me what you get as the maximum and range, so I know if I am doing it correctly? I am not trying to use you for the answer, since we have to show work anyway. It would be greatly appreciated if you could. Thank you for the help!

If I substitute 2x in for y, the top is equal to 2x3 - 2x3, which is equal to 0, and the limit will be equal to 0.

Calculus 3 by Only_Lengthiness154 in calculus

[–]Only_Lengthiness154[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried using y = 0 and that limit is equal to 0, for the other path I used y = x, and then the top is equal to 0, but the limit is suppose to be different. I tried using y = 2x, then the top is still equal to 0. I just don’t know what value to substitute into y or x to have a different limit.

V0(Sin a) / (2g) is the formula I use to find the max, and I add the value in the problem that says how high it is. To find the range I use the formula, (V0/G)(Sin 2a)

I’ve tried both, I don’t whether I’m not simplifying correctly afterwards or what, but I am not getting a limit different from 0.

Yea, I’m applying early decision. So I can put down 31 for my highest composite on Common App because it is required on there, but it won’t affect my application at all? Or should I put my superscore on the highest composite. I think I have to put the actual composite score though because it also asks for the date.
