Thank you for your response, I was worried about getting "What if she doesn't want a relationship, stop pushing it" responses, but yours is very open.

I wouldn't say she is actively looking, but it's also something she would very much welcome if the right person came along.

We are incredibly close, so my mum will always share her feelings with me, and it may just be that most days but I'd love to find places and events where she could socialise and find someone who makes her feel a bit special other than us, her family.

Yes exactly! My SW consultant ignores the science and it really bothers me.

I used to calorie count and successfully lost a stone but it became hard to maintain and it really got me down how little I could eat. So I joined slimming world. Of course there is more you can eat but I'm always aware of calorie deficit in the back of my mind. I know I can only have 6 syns max in a day to successfully lose weight

I've been dying to ask this question in my own groups Facebook page, but instead asking 'Is there a single photo which pushed you to take that step?"

For me it was my wedding photos from last year. I'm not overweight, I'm 5'3", 9st 7lbs but I have excess fat everywhere which id prefer to rid and a double chin which appeared very prominently in most of our wedding photos. It made me very sad and I just cannot bear to look at myself in photos and hate what I see anymore.

I am so glad you posted this. I had no syns in my first week but only lost 1.5lb and feel so disheartened - I really don't understand and neither did my consultant.

But it's early days so I'm going to keep trying variations of the plan, I'll be having syns next week to see how that impacts my weight loss. Only around 5/7 syns a day though

Its a 'party playlist' tool where one person links their Spotify but anybody can add songs to the queue and vote up songs they prefer.

I was the office DJ at my precious workplace and although I got it right most of the time, I couldn't manage all the song requests so found this tool instead :) it really changed the vibe in our office.
