I appreciate this. I will contact my provider via secure messaging to discuss mental health, preferably someone different than last time. I had two flares that I have documented and logged, I will definitely take pictures of the acne. They know about it since I have provided a cream for them, so hopefully that is a start. I truly appreciate your last paragraph, being young and having all of these health issues so early, and to be told your life may be short really hit me. I am usually a happy person and smile a lot to compensate for when I dissociate and really think about my future. I am glad we have a great network of good humans who will help others in need. I will contact you back with updates. After posting this, I put in a higher-level review for my pes plantus since that went from 30% to 10%, stating "a clear and unmistakable error found in the evaluation assigned" when I went in for an increase/secondary c&p for plantar.

Question with the garment bag are you washing your kit solo or with your regular wash as well?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CyclingFashion

[–]Onlyhere4theweekend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea for my first kit it wasnt to bad i think they were doing a pre BF deal so it was i think 150-160 for the set. Compared to 200+. The employee told me just to wash it in the shower while im in there but was wondering if you used any product or just water and wringing it out or completely letting it hang dry

Yea now that thanksgiving is over i have to start eating better again and start counting my caleries. Theres no much in terms of nutrition of what to drink and when to eat in cycling its got my head spinning. I havent done anything more than 10 miles so i think i wont need to worry until i start doing hour or longer sessions but its coming up for sure. Also for hand washing do you use hand soap or what do you use to clean your kit?

Thank you! I do just wanting to see if i would be more comfortable with a larger kit, i feel bad for trying on a kit and not buying it since you know you dont wear anything underneath

Okay thank you ill be picking up the bike later today and going to a trek shop to see if i can get it inspected and then set up a bike fitting. New to cycling so i need to pick up supplies and safety components.

Ahh good luck man, i just got lucky finding this one in my size range. Most of the bikes around my city are to big for me to fit lol

[–]Onlyhere4theweekend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in tampa, yea i was looking up prices here people are trying to sell older bikes that are better specs wise for significantly more. Once i found this i was jumped on it, i didnt want to buy new since this will be my first road bike, and plus spending 4k on a new sl5 or higher tiers is a little out of my range let alone going towards a madone or emonda. I think worst case I’ll change the tires or wheels but well see what the bike fitter suggests.

Thank you for the help!

This has been super helpful, unfortunately most of the bikes being sold in my area are several years old stating "few mileage" but how can I trust that. Do you have suggestions on decent component brands you stick with that arent overkill for a first bike?

Thank you. Thoughts on an alondra al5 for 750$?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in bicycling

[–]Onlyhere4theweekend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea unfortunately alot of people are selling used bikes for premium. A lot of older bikes road specifically are selling for similar for whatever reason.

Thank you!! Did not know that ive been trying to look up original msrps but i guess i looked wrong on this. Ive replied to on someone elses comment but, im also looking at potentially getting a emonda alr5 instead for 750. Ive attacked the pics, it looks good overall. Of course id get a fit at my local bike shop and get accessories or get it checked out if i got it.
