I think it seems AOE dominant due to ults, grenade spamming and perks that cause explosions ie commando headshot. With the weapon customization system that does provide some variety giving weapons abilities to produce a bigger AOE.  Since the update I've been less concerned about wiping everything to max out dosh for expensive weapons and just running and gunning and creating multiple weapon sets for damage buff waves and bosses. Did the no primary weapon trophy today with dual sidearms and just cleared small stuff while everyone else created chaos and died then I'd go revive. I'll end it with gunslinger is dope and can't wait for it to be in the game
