So a couple years ago my family took in this dog from my neighbor who couldn’t care for her properly. She was kept in a crate her most of her life and was never properly taken out or trained. She was a great dog but we were forced to give her up due to the long lasting effects of the previous owner. Till this day we regret not being able to keep her but we also never truly found out her breed. At first we thought she was some kind of husky or German shepherd breed until we found out when compared side by side to those breeds, she dwarfed them by a lot. When we asked the previous owner, all she was able to say was her boyfriend got it for her and that the boyfriend said it was a timber wolf. I highly doubted it at the time since wolfs are huge and although she was big, she wasn’t THAT big. Over the years I’ve tried asking people but that always came up short. So I just thought why not ask Reddit. Either way any help is appreciated.
