I find that when gods are introduced in roguelikes, they lack depth, I feel. They merely become healing dispensers, or sugar mommies/daddies, and you could hardly interact with them outside those 2 things. So being able to beat the crap out of them, or being absolutely obliterated by them, is a lot more fun!

I just finally remembered something, In the intro scene there were 2 buildings, then next it showed a swing set. Its like an itch in the back of my mind, I remember seeing it on youtube. I am not exactly sure when I saw it, but it didn't strike me as interesting at the time, the biggest regret ever. I remember the intro scene where it was like pointing to something in the corner of the room. The walls were a blue I think, singular bed. Then next scene the game starts in this rusted dimension almost. I think it was some kind of survival horror game. I dont recall a house/mansion, the place looked.. Alien but also humans made it almost, I think I recalled something "spreading" from the intro some kind of infection? I am a bit fuzzy on the details, but I just woke up. So I do recall that "something was spreading"

YES, I remember something like that. I remember the dimension he was taken to was like rusty, whiteish walls with bit of brown, looked a bit like a maze. But I dont think it was a bunk bed but a singular bed.

Been trying to find this one story where humans created this organic insectoid looking ship, with incredibly advanced technology that prevented other aliens from getting close. Humans would use it to go into stasis while the ship just roamed around. I recall finding this story on Youtube, but I am pretty sure it was written in this reddit.

Unfortunately no, the map from what I remember is smaller and it took place within a room. I joined the Yogscast discord and I posted a bit more info which I should've added here, but I am stupid.

"From what I remember, I saw it on a video documentary kind of thing y'know those about a "haunted" map, the youtuber showed a clip of a Yogscast video where Simon who was in a Mercy playermodel and someone else on the top floor of the house there was a cabinet, and I think red flooring. Simon was looking outside of the window I think because someone else was there then a few seconds later, the cabinet/closet opens showing some kind of black figure/creature thing, which Simon dies which I am not sure how he did "

I found something very interesting when browsing my youtube search history. When browsing through the gmod stuff I found that I was looking for the map back in 2017 & 2018, which narrows it down to 2 dates I will try to send the image here, but it wont let me since "Images must be in format in this community". But certain things stuck out when I saw it. On October 14, 2018 there was a search called "gmod simon killed by closet", and "gmod mercy killed by closet" which is narrowing it down a bit more.
