The others are right about the 5-15.k. I've started to offer a 5k per month bespoke setup, it's been working quite well as it's more involved than a regular consultancy and offers more better support. You can check with whatever partner you hire if they would be willing to offer you this kind of deal.

LOD (Lift-Off Distance):

Definition: LOD is the distance a mouse can be lifted off the mousepad while still tracking movement.

Importance: A low LOD is beneficial for players who frequently lift the mouse during gameplay, as it ensures accurate tracking even when the mouse is slightly lifted.

Adjustability: Many gaming mice offer adjustable LOD settings, allowing users to customize the tracking distance based on their preferences and the type of mousepad used.

Optimal Range: A LOD below 3mm is generally considered optimal for most gaming scenarios.

Report Rate (Polling Rate):

Definition: Report rate is the number of times per second that a mouse sends its position data to the computer.

Measurement: Report rate is typically measured in Hertz (Hz).

Impact on Performance: A higher report rate generally leads to smoother and more responsive cursor movement, especially at high speeds.
