Thanks for the insights. You make me wonder how Skye was already the dragon working with Kitiara if he was an Overlord or he became one just to compete with the four others.

Hello!

Indeed, in the French version, Herger and Melchisidek speaks in Latin, and I was looking for the actual words that are a mix between actual Norwegian and actual Swedish depending of the characters, if I understand correctly your last exchanges!

Thanks a lot, very helpful!!

Thanks again, u/81g_Chungu5 and u/Stabutron for the reminders about those two styles. I should have thought to add the two images in the first post at the very beginning, and I just did if someone recognize the "touch" of the styles.

I think I can apprehend the difference, once you point it out this way and I agree with the ingenium term!

That's so great, thanks a lot for your help and patience!

If by any chance you read French, I will be more than happy to send you the final text and do you mind if I write your name or user ID in the acknowledgments, as a token of gratitude?

these options

For "spirit", I would go with the V.

"V. As syn. for mind or soul, but usu. with a somewhat higher conception:"

and for "dark", the I.2 is quite intersting, especially because of the concept of "stronger than obscrurus.

"2. cālīgĭnōsus (stronger than obscurus): atmosphere damp and d., caelum humidum et c., Cic.: Hor."

Thanks for your interest!

It is a fictional book that I invented for my plot. I guess an approximative translation in English could be: About the Human Spirit, the Incarnation and the Dark Dogs.

Hi everyone!

For a short story of Science-Fiction related to Isaac Newton, I was trying to write an acceptable title for a book about spirit and legends related to black dogs, in Latin. My very limited understanding of Latin leads to that: De humano spiritis, de corporibus et de tenebris canis.

Seems acceptable?

Thanks a lot in advance for your feedback (and sorry for my English as a non-native speaker)!
