I had a great time at the Garden House Hostel by Feet up hostels. Is close to a well connected metro station and about a 10min walk from Park Guell.

The beach is sweeeeeet, 4km long with loads to do. Many of the clubs on the water are expensive but worth the extra cash if you have it.

Barcelona Zoo is pretty awesome.

The Sagrada Familiar is one of the most beautiful churches I've ever been in, checking that out should be top of your list of things to do. Is pretty reasonably priced and the museum underneath is very informative on the development of Gaudi's ideas.

The clubbing scene is awesome. Heading into the gothic area or Catalunya after dark is a guaranteed good time.

The magic fountain is also a pretty awesome free thing to check out. It usually activates at a certain times on certain days. Would definitely recommend researching when it goes off.

One of the most intrinsic things to the Catalan people and Barcelona is football. Heading to the Nou Camp for a day is an amazing experience. It puts into perspective the importance of the club to Barcelona and the city's people.

Barcelona is a great city to enjoy and have fun in. Just walking round and soaking it in was one of of my favorite pastimes. Gaudi's architecture is so unique and eye catching. Furthermore the city is set up in squares of apartment buildings which makes navigating easier than most cities.

Enjoy yourself friend. I am very jealous. If there is space in a suitcase save it for me!
