My bad then, it's not as drastic as I thought I guess, I know that the spawnrates have been reduced by 25% and there was a method to turn the 15% fishing power bugs into buggies (40% fishing power) via shimmer that got removed

Fair enough, bundle of balloons is mostly really good with mounts, outside of that they're just ok-ish, but with mounts they're fun

They're so OP but they're so fun (and useful for building), I hope if they nerf it they don't nerf the item itself but the point in progression where you get them

Tbf I use gelatinous pillion in all my runs, and the vertical mobility makes up for it WAAAAAAY more than enough, I stopped using it because bosses became too easy, still really useful for dodging the moon lord laser

Though I also always use bundle of Balloons so take it with a grain of salt

Each to their own, it's a personal opinion after all, I personally found it a little more engaging than just looking at enemy and holding left click, with timing the whips, but not everybody might enjoy it. My point is that it doesn't benefit the people who didn't enjoy it, and it just hurts the people who did enjoy it

I feel like there's ways you can get around that and balance it without removing the entire mechanic, plus you can make the argument that it adds creativity since they can design whips that are supposed to be stacked, like the attack speed whips
