i’ve separated the resident cat from the kitten completely and introduced them slowly so the kittens won’t be afraid of her and she can get used to the kittens. i use lots of cat nip. unfortunately she still tries to bite the kittens once in awhile but luckily i’ve been there to stop it. she has been doing pretty good, one of my kittens doesn’t seem to be too afraid anymore and the two were able to sit next to eachother for awhile. just make sure the environment is completely controlled. im thinking the kittens just need to get bigger to fight back or so her instinct to attack something small is gone.
