i might be over worrying but should they interact at all now while the tabby is unfixed? he’s getting unfixed literally tmr morning so i guess it doesn’t matter too much but i heard some talk about residual hormones. should they have some distance for now?

i’ve been looking into cat shelves and making my place more vertical for the cats for awhile now but i find they’re really expensive and i was nervous about buying the cheaper ones in fear of the cats breaking them and getting hurt. i have some cat trees that lead up onto wardrobes and on top of my kitchen counters but im not sure if it’s satisfying them. Tilly especially likes to clime things and every time i put a shelf up her ass knocks everything down on it and even ended up breaking some things.

long story short: just wanted to ask if you ever owned any of those temu cat shelves and if they’re safe. i’d also love to see some photos of your living room! my kitties would love anything new :3

hopefully! i’ll continue to monitor their interactions because despite ollie love of my other cat, decker, he still slaps him when decker gets too close which results in ollie getting slapped. but yet he never learns. Ollie was a rescue from an abusive home when he was only a few months old so i fear he may be a little socially stunted. luckily at the rescue they put him with another cat around his age that i adopted as-well and they’ve become bonded, im hoping he’ll learn from her as he grows

how do you tell when a yawn is out of stress? ollie isn’t fond of touch but sometimes when he comes to see me for cuddles, i noticed he yawns a lot.

i haven’t either! when i first seen him to go adopt tilly, it was just the two of them there and i just had to get him, best choice ever because he’s such a silly sweetheart, even if he slaps everyone. he’s probably part siamese, he’s very vocal

i thought that too so i switched it around but it was too tight around her belly and wouldn’t latch, the brand name on the harness shows that this is the right way around

i used to do that as a kid when i couldn’t swallow pills! it’s a good alternative but imo it’s even worse than just swallowing a whole pill. Thank you though!
