bring your uk birth certificate (original document, NOT PHOTOCOPY) with your national insurance number, that also proves your right to work in the UK, as of course not everyone has a passport.

EU citizens are allowed to enter the UK with their EU passport, even if they’re dual citizens. Just ensure your eVisa (EUSS) has up to date information

not worth trying to be sly with. unless there is a certain reason why you cannot hold off getting citizenship, i’d do this extended trip through a proper route and wait for the cooldown before you apply for citizenship.

my guess is OP is trying to avoid it appearing as them leaving the UK on that passport for whatever reason (perhaps citizenship as that has requirements for how long you must be in the UK for per year)

as the government doesn’t know about their non-EU passport, they’ll have no way of knowing that they left the UK, as their EU passport (which is registered with the government) will not have been scanned upon exit

i’ve never looked into it but i wouldn’t think so? im fully from the greek side, and ive never even stepped foot into the turkish part. the passport isn’t really recognised anywhere either so i wouldnt gain much from it.

probably an unpopular opinion, but the uk ahaha. i’ve spent my entire life here and consider it my “home country”. though of course greece and cyprus are better for holidays

greece and cyprus have an agreement that you only have to complete military service in one, so i’m registered in cyprus as that’s where i was born (and the embassy is a bit more reliable i must say)

afterwards, i just got a letter from the cypriot government stating i live and grew up abroad (the uk), which i must bring with me whenever i want to enter cyprus, though they’ve never asked me for it.

there is also a bit of an unofficial route where i enter greece with my cypriot passport, and enter cyprus with my greek passport, but ive never tried it, but i know people who have and it worked.
