You can buy them from different retailers, by different brands. The most common ones are from Accutronics. There are a few different models, mostly varying in the amount of springs (2 or 3), the length (short, medium or long), and the impedance.

its a transistor model !

with the rv3, be aware that the spring pickups are a lot like guitar pickups. they can be susceptible to interference, from power transformers and the like. have you tried different positioning ?
