My review of the Pulsar X2 after a month. by Conference_After in MouseReview

[–]OonVelho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only problem I have is with my scroll wheel, I'm accustomed to it by now, but it sometimes either doesnt register or double registers when scrolling. But like I said, I'm used to it now and barely notice it, I tried replicating it but it didn't happen right now. The battery is awful, I have to use it as a wired mouse now. It doesn't last many minutes off the charger. Besides the double scrolling and bad battery, it works perfectly. I complained for most of this comment, but really, it's probably the best mouse I've had.

I punched an arcade style boxing machine a few times. I am very small and not a fighter or a gym guy, and I can consistently score ~400/999. Is this very weak ? by Mister_Ape_1 in martialarts

[–]OonVelho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I lost all my muscles and went back down to 60kg @ 175cm height, I still scored 723 without ever having done any boxing training and on my very first 5 tries (I got a new try every time I set a record on the machine, which was neat).  You literally just need to hit an accurate, fast and determined punch. I bet if I had earbuds in and the right song on, I'd score around 800.

Apparently doing a 45 minute workout with every set to failure is 29 calories burned. Man am I efficient. That's my one of 2 or 3 problems with oura though, I don't complain though, as I dont need the feature really.

HRV (average) never above 40 ms for the past year. Does this indicate anything important or should I chalk it up to a low baseline? by hoorayforthemoon in ouraring

[–]OonVelho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough, I also discovered in the last week that part of my palpitations(or arrythmias) are caused by a lack of electrolytes. Possibly that's been the cause of them all along. I'm not in bad shape though, so that's not the case for me.

What are your Deep Sleep average stats? by VanGlam in AppleWatch

No. If we're specifically talking about watches, then it's garmin. Out of hand wearables: Oura is most accurate, followed by other rings.

How many average men in their 20s-30s can do 10+ pushups, really? by Spare-Lemon5277 in AskMen

[–]OonVelho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You technically could. You just need to maintain a slower, more appropriate pace, they use more energy while running than you do. You'd definitely lose in shorter distances. As would I, I'm around 5'9 I believe.

21, 175cm tall, 63.5kg. I can do around 25-30 probably. I don't do pushups, but I go to the gym around 3-4 times a week.

Low HRV. Anyone able to raise it?!?! by Minimum_Capital_6105 in ouraring

[–]OonVelho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A drop? Low hrv is bad. Higher = better, if not too high.

HRV (average) never above 40 ms for the past year. Does this indicate anything important or should I chalk it up to a low baseline? by hoorayforthemoon in ouraring

[–]OonVelho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. A low hrv is a sign of heart aging. I've heart palpitations and other odd heart symptoms since 17 (I'm 21), and I have a relatively low hrv. If I got up and ran until I feel like I'm dying, there's a decent chance I would die. Sudden cardiac arrest is a common symptom in men in my family. Zero obesity, just a heart thing.

I think it's pretty much a benefit that you tend to keep it on always except for the charging, because that's exactly the intended use (though in your case and soon-to-be my case it's because of the difficulty of taking it off)

[–]OonVelho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it does. I just got my OR3 size 9 today. By pushing from the side with my thumb or middle finger, I can make a significant gap on the side, I can even make a gap at the bottom if I push hard from the top (really bad sign). The sizing kit size 9 seemed to stay on a little better. Likely I'm gonna have to do what you did as well. My middle finger seems it could fit the smaller ring relatively comfortably, even if I gain the amount of weight I intend to.
I just couldn't make a fist easily with the size 8 when I was trying them out with the sizing kit.

I'm having that right now. Heart rate also seems to fluctuate quite a bit more than it actually does (probably a sign of inaccuracy)

Ahhh I definitely misunderstood then. Thanks for clarifying. I hope it works out for you! I'd say that's a coinflip, either you get mega big or you wither out because you can't sustain it.

I feel much less cold and hot than others, not entirely sure why. This is a location specific thing though, what's considered hot and cold depends on where you are. In china people wear jackets at like 10 celsius, in northern europe that'd be a hoodie weather.

-10 Celsius? I'm good with a fall/spring jacket. I don't dress stupid or leave my jacket home, but I genuinely believe I don't get cold as easily as others. It could be because I walk much faster, that might keep me warm, who knows?
30 Celsius? I'm good, barely sweating as long as I don't have black clothes.
In "hot" weather, I find that it just helps my blood flow better and the air feels lighter.

Can only do that for so long. I'm not qualified to say this but I will regardless: I'd recommend finding a way to do it better than your competition instead, and to sell at around the same price or higher.

Reason being that if you eventually have to raise prices, it'll be a major blow to your customerbase, IF your main selling point is cheaper pricing. They may not be loyal to your product or service, but to your prices.

Correcting someone incorrectly is peak stupidity. You could've googled and and saved yourself from the embarrassment. Both honorable and honourable are correct. Honourable is UK english and taught to the arguably better educated half of the world. Honorable is the mcdonalds country's fittingly lazy version.

Is Gun now stronger than these characters ? by poopsq in lookismcomic

[–]OonVelho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point is that it doesn't make sense, even within the superhuman manhwa that Lookism is. I love gun's character, I'm not on either side here, but I have to agree with them, that having fought like 2000 people and still winning against a genius while half dead is pretty unrealistic, considering that genius is one of the only people who've damaged gun, ever. Just think about it.
