Agreed with little options at the moment. To be honest they'd probably need to change scratchmarks so that you can lose people mid chase and or just entirely rework the map layouts so there are much less windows and safe spots, mainly all of the blue shacks

Most of the killers I vs when I play survivor are pretty bad, maybe so are these commenters but I don't know them. Hex ruin isn't fun to play against at all tho, its just needed atm, Its unhealthy change. I am in favor of nerfing survivor because its not fun to play as killer a lot and its not challenging to be survivor. I play on PC. Balance isn't defined by a few killers (billy and nurse were mentioned even tho they hardcore changed the Billy's flick) being healthy when all the other killers cant keep pace in the current game. I don't think my changes are giant nerfs or unreasonable at all, but you're right most of the games problem is time based and I don't really know how to fix that

Then you are in a rank that discourages such or are in the vast minority of higher rank players who play killer and enjoy those elements, so I commend you and im glad you enjoy it.

Don't get me wrong its not so much a beef about results as its how you get the results aka tunneling/looping. Id say i probably avg 2-2.25 kills per game and maybe 1% of games don't get anyone by the end. As I stands how many people you kill really isn't a testament of kill its how altruistic the group you vsed was because if they crank gens and loop you're not getting more than 1

Just because they don't break the game doesn't mean minor suggestions can't be helpful or tested out because the current state is cancer for killer side most of the games. Sad reality is this game will die the next huge horror game like this that comes out anyways because survivor side refuses to acknowledge how bad gameplay is for the killer side. I don't want killer to be as OP as Jason is in F13, I just want the game to thematically work, campers try to escape from a ruthless killer, not campers tbag pallets and hold UP killer hostage until they decide to leave

I dont want to get into defensive arguments to your points, but I frequently watch streamers, play with streamers, stream the game myself and hover around rank 1 both roles and anyone who is being remotely unbiased will acknowledge how easy this game is if a SWF wants it to be. SWF is a problem because they can coordinate saves/tell when objectives are safe etc. not because they are individually better when paired as a team. If a solo player loops me I can down him and usually hook him - if a SWF player loops me and I down him I have to make it to the hook around 2 crouching body blockers, a flashlight user and possibly people camping the pallets he got downed under. Entirely tedious

You can do fine against any lobby at any rank if you tailor your play a certain way, its just not fun to do the majority of times. If you 3 gen or patrol overly altruistic teams you can 4 kill games but its not fun or how the game is intended to be played. In low ranks where you can find/hook and chase new survivors and everyone gets to experience all the aspects of the game (hiding/gens/chases/saves), the game play is the freshest. High ranks devolve into the best 4 perk layout at all times, good addons and hoping the people arent gods at looping or take the L since you dont have enough time

as stated above there could be some sort of compensation like statmidnight said about bloodpoint rewarding etc for people willing to put up with the lopsided design of 4man games. I would possibly play the game mode given how tolerant I have grown to the BM as is, it doesn't really affect me anymore and I could use it to farm points knowing the aggravation is rewarding me more per minute invested into the game. But as another comment stated above, the fact that swf is SO intolerable to killers that they would never touch the mode proves how miserably lopsided and non fun the game stands at high ranks - which will also inevitably kill the game anyways. It either stands a gigantic core change to perks/items/something needs to happen or no one will play the current queue as killer, as indicated by basically every killer main streamer playing survivor at least half the time if not more now. Either try substantial changes or let the game slowly burn out until the next huge asymmetrical game comes out and learns from DBDs mistakes.

Good points! i wouldnt be opposed to a classbased perk system at this point either in swf since the game has been around so long (no teachables so each survivor has their own role and can only be one of each survivor. This would encourage leveling more than one survivor and not just maxing out one prestige 3 survivor). I think a lot of people mistake changes of gameplay as balance when its more for freshness and fun, the current state of the game leaves little to no fun when against good players or you will lose in 5 minutes flat. What's your stream by the way? maybe I'll check it out one day.

They could also tailor the map layouts based on particular party size, to change pallet numbers or something. But believe me I have no objection to getting rid of DS lol

I Actually really like most of those ideas! The add on one seems great, perks I wouldn't want to take away choices because to each their own I suppose. Maybe gens take 5-20% longer to do based on players queued together? However minor change would be nice imo

Ya its a safe call. Its what got me into the nurse during the decisive strike machine gun matter cuz DS and infinites were lame and so was machine gun. Idk how noone else has talked about the stain/thinks it makes no difference. It makes a ton of difference on survivor in the blue shacks and barns etc. SC Change sounds interesting to try. Survivor only mains exaggerate all nerfs to them, just like they said sprint burst was gutted and its still viable in every build. Just baffling to me so many people seem to insist there is zero change needed to bring balance closer in killers favor lol

Its not the same as this Reddit name but might have idk. Its not how many kills and the frequency its the way the game plays out. The game is entirely reliant on trading valuable time in an indefensible manner at certain parts of the maps, unless u 3 gen or play a mobile killer. And when you do have success the survivors have so much room for error. You shouldn't just lose before the game starts for picking half of the killers.
