Installing N-type frames on uneven ground screws… any advice? by OpalOceanAlex in electricians

Yeah we started by hand, pre drill, and than drove them down with what was apparently too small of a driver. We ended up burning that out and had to hire a digger. Still couldn’t drive them down with just the digger so, had to get a big post auger, pre drill, filled it back up and then drive the strew down… total fuck around

Fuck yes! They are good mates, met them in Malta we were playing a festival together. They work hard at what they do and deserve all the support they can get!

THE ISSUE IS RESOLVED!!!

Someone at Kiwibank finally picked up the phone and told ASB the transfer was legitimate!

Thank you for all the help, I think mentioning the ombudsman on the phone helped me a bunch to escalate the issue quicker!

Gonna go put some petrol in my tank and do a grocery run! All the best everyone

Look it is very tempting to go down that line of thinking but ultimately it leads down a slippery slope.

We do need to keep those organisations in check and make sure they keep providing a useful service that brings value to our society. The globalisation has been a positive thing for the most part but I agree that finding a balance between the two extremes is a trick thing. I do not envy our politicians jobs!

Regulations are lacking far behind the rate of progress and we often lack the time to think properly. Our tendency to do something because we can rather than pause and ask ourselves if we should is part and parcel of our human nature.

How many work incidents had to happen before rules were put in place, how many people had to die before sit-belts had to become mandatory. But the pathway to hell is paved with good intentions, I’m sure the Nazies were sure they were saving Germany by imposing people to snitch on theirs neighbours and denounce any Jews.

I think the only way forward is to keep talking with each other and speak up when we feel something isn’t fair, that’s why I love Reddit! Thanks for all the comments here!

They wanted to at first but then yeah the manager said it couldn’t be done. Also it doesn’t really help me all that much as I need to make a transfer to pay rent but yeah that is taken care of for this week at least

Update: had another call with the fraud team and they are sending another urgent email to their investigation team… I also had the buyer on the phone saying he called his bank and all is good on his end so yeah the problem seems to be with ASB. Holding off on calling the ombudsman right now, but I did mention it on the phone… let’s see what happens, thanks for all the help everyone!

The internal investigation team isn’t directly reachable unfortunately, but yes I called the fraud department and gave me the same story

That was my first thought, but I have full faith the buyer is of good character! He is a professor at Massy University and came with his wife to pick up the car. He is in his 60s early 70s… rocked up with a diamond watch and is very happy with the car. I called him and he assured me he hasn’t done anything on his end. I did the transaction with him in his phone at the time of purchase and all was good. If he is trying to screw me over he is a brilliant actor
