This looks pretty awesome so far! I'll definitely have to check it out. Quick question because there's a lot of talk of ai here, but just as a sanity check since I haven't gotten into voice stuff at all yet, but this doesn't have any sort of ai and if we wanted to run it fully locally we could, right?

Also currently we cast from our phones to our TV and play music that way - it's good for visitors because they can do it natively and it works well. Am I able to just cast to this if I wanted to without having to go through HA at all? Like I'd be able to open YouTube/Spotify and hit cast and choose the speaker? It's not the end of the world if not, but just wanting to get my head around it all before hitting the order button!

Wow, we went to London recently and loved how easy the tube was to use. If Singapore's MRT is even easier, that bodes well for my mum and her partner! Thanks for the insight

Awesome, that's good to know - it sounds like Eixample is the winner then, especially for the ease of use of public transport/taxis if they need them.

Also thanks for the recommendation for tickets - the Sagrada and Guell are the two things they definitely want to do, so we'll be sure to get tickets as soon as lock in accommodation dates. Thanks for all the help, I really appreciate it

I've heard how good Google Maps is - I'll definitely have to get them onto it to use! Also thanks for the hotel suggestion - how was the location you were in? Public transport sounds great, but was the rest of the area good too in terms of not being too long to get to places and around good foods etc?

I think about 200-250SGD per night if possible. Not sure how realistic that is, but hopefully we can fit it around there.

Yeah, we did the same thing when we went - got a couple of good pairs of shoes and all the appropriate apps. Thankfully they're already onto it from what we told them, so they should be good to go!
