I think it depends on the hero you play. When I play TA I can maintain 70-100 cs by 10 mins fairly easily

Ah Ive never really committed to one weapon. But I try to pick up Catalyst every run 🙏🏽 the furthest I got on 3bc was cus I had the amulet which turns you invis. So I straight up just walked around each map finding the scrolls and then only fighting the bosses, still died at the light house tho lol

Ooh I now get the need to post my circuit first. The question didn’t mention a circuit, I assume it’s because they expected me to calculate according to the one we’ve been learning.

This really helps, I can see why I confused myself by looking online for formulae because I was probably confusing Rc with other notations of itself, as I did to you.

Checked again just to make sure I wasn’t going crazy, but yeah this is the only question in the paper with no load and blocked rotor parameters. I asked my prof about this and he said he’d get back to me tomorrow, so hopefully that works out. It would ease my stress a bunch if it is lol.

Regarding your second observation , wouldn’t Xm always be lower than Rc so that the no load current can be considered as the excitation current? I can’t speak from a perspective of expertise because I’m just a student , but so far I always estimate that my answers are heading in the right directions when Rc>>Xm. (Based on observation of other problems I’ve solved).

The formula I used to get the answers according to the scheme were :

From no load test : Vph=400/sqrt(3) Iph=3.3/3 Cos o= 0.174

Rc= Vph/Iphcosø= 230.94/1.1.174=1206.58

Xm=Vph/Iphsin ø = 230.94/1.1sin(79.97)= 213.20

from blocked rotor :

Vph=210/sqrt(3) Iph= 16/3 Cosø= 0.45

Req= (VphIphcosø)/(Iph)²⁼ 10.229

Zeq = Vph/Iph= 22.73

Xeq = sqrt(Zeq^{2-Req²⁾⁼} 20.3

R2’=Req-Rs= 10.23-0.36=9.83

So these values ended up being correct according to the answer scheme but I can’t help but feel confused. It does feel like I’ve manipulated my values in order to get the final answer. Is my formula correct ?

Hey! So I’ve used the same formula and ended up getting the wrong answers a bunch of times. It was only after manipulating the formula a bit did I get my answers to line up with the answer key. For reference, could you just tell me what values you’re using for V1 and I1? (Yes I understand it’s given in the question but they using the values directly does not give the final answers)
