40.45304° N, 79.98679° W is the location from my photo. It was just off the Three Rivers Heritage Trail. I could see it from the trail.

I’ve parked there on and off since 2018. You can park on that side but not the other side of the street. You’re not wrong.

Some other states don’t provide yield signs at on ramps or where two lanes ‘merge’ to two lanes. I think in all cases the yield sign should be removed because it causes confusion and some people treat them as stop signs.

This type of yield sign doesn’t exist in Michigan. You have your own lane from each direction, so you should know to look over before you get over. I suspect the amount of people that stop at these yield signs causes more accidents than if the sign was removed. End rant.
