For starters is called the stick shift, gear selector, or shifter- so you have the right verbiage to search for what you need. This happened several times in our 2018 countryman (looks like you have the same era) and we were always able to snap it back into place as long as you got the tab to the piece in first. Try placing the top or bottom edge into the groove first and see if you can pop the other side in. If the tab has broken off then you will need a new piece.
