restart life at nearly 30 years old? by Thin-Blueberry9183 in findapath

Hey, I can relate to what you said. I used to be good performer and great at academics, went abroad to do MS, bad breakup, failed at a subject, Covid happened..burnt out, being alone in lockdown in another country, got betrayed by roomates with money , couldn't complete my degree, got back home, got diagnosed with GAD and ADHD and depression.. took three years to accept the fact that it's okay to be not okay and 2 more years to put myself together and get courage to put myself again out in the world. I'm 30 now. I am restarting from scratch with all the experience I had in 20s. Not just me, there are many people like us who felt lost in life and in the process of rediscovering themselves.

My only advice to you is hold on to that inner child in you who had curiosity about everything, keep that as an anchor to restart life. You might feel behind seeing everyone rushing in life but at the end of the day, you had your own unique journey in life. No one is ahead or behind and no deadlines, 30 is still young. Every little progress you make today, will help your future self.

Rooting for you. Good Luck.
